Our mission is to inspire middle and high school students to seek out STEM careers, and imagine their future by showing them real-world views and possibilities of a career in STEM. These students will help fill our much needed technology talent pipeline and help enhance the competitive advantage of our region and workforce.
We believe that if we expose young students to the diverse world of what engineers, scientists, and technologists do, we expand their options and help them shape their world in new ways.
We want to help educators enhance STEM learning in their schools by exposing our girls and boys to the career experience of working engineers. We know that hands-on programs can inspire student’s engagement and excitement, and we aim to do just that.
When students see and touch the technologies in a Free Range Kids Class, we hope they become inspired to explore new areas in science and technology. They discover possibilities for their career paths to pursue into high school and beyond.
